BLUFFTON, Ohio – Bluffton University senior Leonardo Campos (Santiago, Chile/Campbellsville University) has been named 4th Team All-Region VII by the United Soccer Coaches for his work on the pitch in 2025. He is one of just 10 honorees from the Heartland Conference which had five teams represented this year. Transylvania led the way with four selections. Hanover and Rose-Hulman had two honorees apiece, with Bluffton and Anderson also recognized.
Starting in all 19 games this season, Campos finished the season with 17 points which were comprised of six goals and five assists. The senior midfielder was efficient with his shots, with 55.2 percent (16-of-29) being on frame. Campos jumped up to 10th all-time with 19 goals and his 45 career points are 11th all-time. He finished his decorated career 8th all-time with 68 matches and 5,033 minutes played.
He was an integral components of a soccer program which finished the season with an 8-10-1 record and a 5-4 mark in the conference. It was the 5th consecutive year Bluffton earned entry to the HCAC Tournament, and only the second time in program history that the Beavers played in an HCAC semifinal contest.
