Christmas time is often enjoyable when it rolls around. There is so much to plan for and much to look forward to. Christmas is a lot of things, and a big aspect many people appreciate is the act of giving and receiving gifts. Everyone has dream gifts that they would lose their mind over if they received them Christmas morning.
When asked what was on their Christmas wish lists this year, students responses varied.
Diamond Reed, a sophomore sports management major, enjoys roller skating in her free time, and shared she wants new skates for Christmas to use at the skate rink.
“I really want a new car,” said CJ Thompson, a freshman business major.
Thompson has been wanting a new car for a while now and said that a car is the only thing on his list. He later added, “I also wanted the new cherry eleven’s that come out soon.”
Kennedy Weaver, a sophomore business major, said she has been wanting new clothes, shoes, and personal items.
“I want to go on a shopping spree,” said Weaver. “If I could just get some money for Christmas that would be perfect.”
Sophomore Devita Brown said she simply wants to spend Christmas with her friends and family. She said she hasn’t been able to spend quality time with them lately, and would like to be able to spend the holiday with them.
Christmas is about spending time with the ones you love the most. A one to do that is by making Christmas memories while opening presents. But always remember to be grateful for what you have when there are others who do not have the same privileges.
