Emotional support animals on campus

Ollie

Justin Metsker, junior math and economics major with his dog, Ollie. Ollie is a one year old that loves playing tug-of-war and playing with her piggy toy.

Kitty

Kitty the cat posing with her owner, Abi Baker, a junior psychology major. Kitty is seven years old, having spent the majority of her life with Baker after being found roaming the streets as a kitten. 

“She likes to beg for my food,” said Baker. “So whenever I make myself something, I have to give her a little or she will try and steal it. Especially ice cream. She loves ice cream.”

Nelson

Noah Heiing, a sophomore social work major with his one-year-old Golden Labradoodle, Nelson. Nelson loves going to Dunkin’ with Heiing and getting ‘Pup Cups.’ Heiing also logs Nelson’s adventures on an Instagram account created for Nelson [@]nelson.the.labradoodle.

Arlo

Elizabeth Rockwell, junior marketing, communication and business major, with her dog, Arlo. Arlo is an eight-month-old Cocker-Spaniel. He can often be seen running around campus saying hi to anyone who will give him attention.

Zelda

Zelda the cat with her owner, Adrianny “Kiwi” Suarez, sophomore pre-art therapy major. Zelda is five months old, making this Suarez’s first emotional support animal (ESA). Zelda loves to run and gets “zoomies” a lot according to Suarez.

 

“She has the personality of a lion in a little cat body,” said Suarez. “So she can’t really-she’s very aggressive in a very cute way.”
